Here are Some Helpful Tips for Fabulous Senior Photos!
1. Iron and Prepare Outfits: We encourage you to have all outfits ready and ironed beforehand. Not only does it make it easier for us on Photoshop, but it makes for a nice picture. We don’t have to fuss with clothes during the shoot, which gives us more time to take awesome photos of you!
2. Bring makeup/comb: This is helpful for any touch ups during the session whether the shoot is inside or outside it’s always best to have your makeup/comb and small mirror with you.
3. Clean/Manicured Nails: Small details are important too! You have a nice outfit, nice hair and a nice smile so don’t let something as small as untrimmed nails or chipped nail polish draw attention from that.
4. Bring Personal Items: You want to look back at senior photos and have that be a reminder of who you were then. Whether it’s your Letterman jacket, athletic ball, instrument, or a favorite childhood item, it adds a personal touch to your photos!
5. Keep the Weather in Mind: Make sure to check the weather and plan accordingly. If the weather is on the warmer side, then wear cooler outfits that way you are comfortable. Bring water to stay hydrated during the photo session! If it's too windy, we may have to reschedule your session.
6. Be on Time: Time is precious. You want to get the MOST out of your photo session! We can get more pictures, incorporate ideas you may have, and not waste any good lighting. Being prepared helps with being on time to your senior shoot.
7. Show your Style: Dress like your true self. As mentioned before, your senior photos will represent who you are! Wear clothes that are nice, but comfortable and more your own style.
8. Don’t Wait Last Minute: Getting Senior photos done is a process. Taking the photos, selecting the favorite ones, editing, designing and ordering. You do NOT want to wait until the last-minute, being stressed out about it. We want to give you the finished product the way you imagined it, which ultimately takes time.
9. Include your Parents/Guardian/Best friends: Whoever your support system is, they should be included in the senior photo process. This is a milestone for them as much as it is for you!
10. Relax and Smile: Overall, you should try your best to feel at ease during photos. We understand it's not every day you’re in front of a camera, but we try our best to make you feel comfortable. Don’t be afraid to share any ideas/thoughts with us! We love to hear them!
